so much for scripting

A past post about placenta previa is here with an explanation on what it is exactly and what’s so unnerving about it.

We had another ultrasound a couple weeks ago to see if the placenta had moved away from my cervix. The specialist gave us an 80% chance of everything remaining as is, and guessed that it would likely still be covering the cervix and a c-section necessary. In most cases the placenta will gravitate north as the baby grows and you expand to make room for everything, but that was just not the case for us and the specialist was right.

It has moved a tiny bit – while it was completely covering the cervix, and even into the cervix a bit, it’s moved to only marginally covered as the placenta moved a half a centimeter to the great north. Unfortunately it has to be at least two centimeters from the cervix to be considered clear and good, and it’s still technically securely in place down low. nuts.

I talked to my OB at my most recent appointment to understand better what everything means for planning ahead… because I absolutely have to have a plan. Even living over a thousand miles away my mom hasn’t missed a birth, and Baby Gump is certainly giving us a challenge. Especially considering how heavily I’m going to rely on her to help take care of the Littles while I’m in the hospital, and I know I’m going to want my mommy when I’m recovering from the surgery, I’m up for the challenge. So I present you with Plans A, B and C:

Plan A) we have another ultrasound on August 9th and if the placenta is still in place we schedule an amniocentesis on August 26th to make sure the baby’s lungs, etc. are developed enough for the c-section. If the test results give the okay, we go straight to labor and delivery and baby makes three. I’ll be a day shy of 38 weeks and at first my OB was nervous about allowing me to go that late because of the risk of bleeding if I start dilating. BUT she’s pretty surprised I haven’t bled yet at all, so she’s confident that I can last to nearly 38 weeks. There’s a chance of bed rest if there’s spotting toward the end but as long as there’s nothing too severe, we should be in the clear.

Plan B) we have another ultrasound on August 9th and if the placenta has moved past the two centimeters then everything is a wash and we’ll wait to let Baby come in their own time around the due date of September 10th.

Plan C) we have another ultrasound on August 9th and the placenta is still in place or has moved back to where it was eight weeks ago and the specialist won’t let me wait until the end of the week for the 26th and has me schedule the amnio a week prior or that Monday or Tuesday the 22nd or 23rd. My OB is on vacation then and I’d be way more comfortable with her doing the c-section so I’m hoping that’s not the case, plus then my mom has to try to move up her flight last minute, which would be a headache and I’d imagine hurt the pocketbook.

While it’s exciting to know the potential date that we’ll know this baby but also slightly terrifying because it’s right around the corner now, which is overwhelming. We’ve been starting to move rapid fire now switching rooms around and nesting has completely kicked in. Unfortunately I’ve had a huge problem with the sciatic nerve in both legs (it’s always frickin got to be something, ugh.) which makes it so difficult to walk by the end of every day that I have to wear a belly brace to help carry the weight of Baby and hopefully ease the pain.

It’s also directly put all the stress of physically getting things done squarely on Justin’s shoulders. I can tell he’s likely close to his breaking point with all the pressure he has to carry in supporting our family nearly on his own since I’m just literally not able to help as much as usual. Now we’re trying to settle into new routines with renewed expectations and it will hopefully help release a lot of stress. We’re just exhausted… it’s only going to get easier with three, right?!

a picture six weeks ago at my college roomie's baby shower - wouldn't have pictured this seven years ago! so much fun sharing pregnancies with friends!

this was also the last time I've worn heels this summer... hello swelling. Sweet Moses.

Baby Bail's Birthday (Hopefully)

This is Justin... just in case you can't tell by my less creative writing style, and frequent use of graphs...

Update:
- Came into the Fairview Hospital Yesterday at around 5:00 pm
- The Doctors started Dana on some medication to help her body prepare
for today.
- This morning at 7:00 am, they started the Pitocin which is a substitute
for Oxytocin which is released before/during pregnancy and causes the
contractions.
- It is now 11:54 and Dana is still having contractions approximately 3-5
minutes apart.
- We are currently waiting on a measurement to show us where she is at...
- We are hoping for some progress pass the last measurement at 6:30 am of
1.5 cm.

Quote of the Hour
- from Dana between contractions, " FRICKIN 1.5 !#@!@!!!!!"

To do List
- Pick a name for BabyBail (gonna be tough since we forgot the book at home)

oh baby where art though?

I'm sure those who have been through this before think I'm being dramatic - but Baby Girl is still late. I know it's only two days, but I cannot even express to you how much I know she wants out! Everyone keeps telling me she's not come yet because she's not ready - this girl is ready! I'm also ready, it's my stupid body that's not cooperating with us.

I had my last OB appointment on Wednesday and she had good news for me, I'd dilated one centimeter!! I returned her look of excitement and encouragement with a "what kind of crazy pills are you on?!" ONE CENTIMETER?! I'm not trying to be all Negative Nancy on everyone, but I keep hearing stories from women who were 1-2 centimeters for weeks on end, and I was finally at one just a day before her due date. Apparently there were more changes she was optimistic about (I'm much more effaced) and she wouldn't be surprised if Baby Bail came on her own sometime this weekend. It's already Saturday night and not lookin' good for tomorrow (although talk about stealing the thunder on Mother's Day!)

I'm scheduled to be induced on Tuesday, May 13th if she doesn't come on her own before then. I'd much rather her come completely naturally, but my parents are here to help with everything because Justin won't have much time off work afterward, and if she's two weeks late, they'll be gone and I'll be a mess. So the induction is scheduled for Tuesday and I have to go the hospital Monday night to get the process slowly started. The more I think about the actual labor, the more I panic so I still try not to think about it and just handle it as it comes. Anyway, that's all I have for now - anxious to meet our baby and our world to flip upside down. We'll keep everyone updated on our blog, check often!

come out come out wherever you are!

There’s a baby pool going on at work right now for Baby Girl’s assumed arrival date. It’s been pretty fun but this morning I was a little shocked when I saw one of my friends first thing and instead of the usual hello I got “damn it!” I stared at her, more than a little confused, and she reminded me that she had Sunday afternoon’s slot for the pool – so she lost. I laughed and apologized that Baby’s taking her time… it’s fun how into this people at work are getting. Even the play-by-play commentators for the local TV broadcast already have ways to work in mentions of her birth into their broadcasts!

My latest OB appointment was Thursday and resulted in tears: I’m not dilated. at all. even a little. not almost. I’d been having irregular contractions for a little over a week and what was getting me through the discomfort (read: awful pain) was knowing it serves a purpose and we’d get to finally meet Baby Girl soon. Hearing that not only am I not dilated and barely effaced, but will likely be late, was frustrating to say the least.

She’s been more active than ever right before the contractions come, when I look down at my stomach as she’s playing Dance Dance Revolution in the womb, it’s more weird than precious. I feel like I’m not in control of my body and it’s not necessarily a part of me anymore. Before with random kicks and summersaults Baby and I were a team – coexisting together and enjoying each others company, now I seriously almost feel like I’m disappointing her because the girl is out of room! The inn is closed! She knows it and I know it, but nothing’s happening! She wants out and my body is the stupid thing restricting her and denying her what we both want right now.

I’m definitely ready for her to come now (I’m not at all prepared, but I am ready!) and I’m even willing to share her, which I think is a big step! Justin could not be more excited to meet her, and my mom says daily how anxious she is to hold her. I want to see her and hold her and be completely overwhelmed with her. It’s completely insane to think that she’ll be here within the week – hopefully. the contractions still hurt.

a wish list of sorts

As the countdown begins to Baby Bail's arrival (only 7 days!) my emotions bounce around quickly and erratically from excited to nervous to scared to anxious to thrilled to hopeful… I’m sure this is normal for first time mothers, right?! I feel like it would be so much easier right now if I just knew when she was coming! I’m currently disregarding the contractions because my doctor said to expect them irregularly, but I’m also nervous that I wouldn't be paying them the attention they deserve and I’ll wait too long to go to the hospital and end up delivering in the car.

I’m hoping to post more frequently in this next week to document the range of emotions and stories… for now I wanted to share a card I got from one of my dearest friends in college. Camille was my first friend at Geneva and although we’re completely different we seem to share this kindred spirit and we will remain friends in spite of the opposite characteristics. Anyway, she sent a card awhile back that makes me think about what Baby Girl is going to be like someday including which traits she’ll reflect that Justin and I have, and which she’ll develop on her own. Kiki’s speculations:

From Justin – "a strong will to succeed and a sense of humor"
From me – "an ability to remember it’s the small things, an ambitious ambition"
From both – "creativity, inspiration, and love"

This got me thinking of traits in our immediate family that if I could handpick, our children (Baby Girl and those that *hopefully* follow) would inherit:

From Mom – her artistic ability (she’s an amazing artist!) and independent spirit
From Dad – the desire to constantly seek ways to put family first
From Will – an addictive charm, quick wit, and steadfast hold to values
From Andrea – willingness to accept new roles asked of her… and succeed
From Briana – a forgiving heart and youthful spirit

From Jeff – a strong sense of family and actively engaging in each others lives
From Miriam – creativity and the ability to let the little things slide
From Nate – the passion and joy he has in his relationships
From Danielle - a fun and energetic way of life

Thanks Teach...

Justin and I took a Baby Basics class tonight - I've tried pretty hard not to get too crazy reading all the different articles and books with every different opinion under the sun on topics I didn't even know I was supposed to be thinking of. At the same time, we don't want to be ignorant so we figured this would at least be helpful.

Not so much. I only feel worse now... sort of. The woman who taught the class started with the cliche there are no stupid questins, but very quickly moved onto leaving me questioning why I didn't already know that. Things I now know I'm already doing wrong: I planned on using a bumper in her crib; I would have used lotion and not vegetable oil if I were to give her a massage; I was going to use a positioner to keep her on her back; I'd planned on swaddling her in one of her receiving blankets to put her to bed instead of a burrito-blanket; I would have only burped her at the end of feeding instead of every 1/2 - 3/4 of an ounce - and didn't I mention no bumper?! Did anyone else use a bumper?!

She was so end of the world about everything too. Basically if we do one single little thing wrong, Baby Bail is screwed. This is something I've already known for some time, but I've been living comfortably in denial. The instructor was definitely an Uncle No Fun. Instead of leaving the class feeling confident that we would be able to figure it out and handle the unknown, I left cranky and doubtful.

-which is better than feeling violated like I will be by the end of the day tomorrow after my OB appointment. She's going to start checking if I'm dialted. That's been another part of my living in denial, I haven't had to use the stirrups at all so far, and I was hoping I'd only have to when Baby actually comes. And if that weren't enough, I also have to get a Group B Strep test where, for those of you unfamiliar, I just recently learned they swab the vajayjay and around the badonkydonk. They didn't do all this to the women on the Oregon Trail, and they had babies all the time! frickin' geez...

April Showers

The frickin' funk is finally finished (say that twelve times fast!) except for Monday to Friday from about 9-5. So this is what it's like to not be in love with your job... pretty frustrating and disheartening. I can't really complain too much because I know that I've been blessed, but certain situations (people) are really just wearing me down. ANYWAY...

Since the last post twelve years ago I've been completely overwhelmed by the generosity of family and friends at baby showers at home in Loveland, work, and Justin's mom threw a shower for us. Seriously, everyone's kindness with their gifts, and simply making it to each shower left Justin and I feeling so blessed and loved. Baby Girl needs for nothing (except two parents who know what the purpose for each gift we received was and where on Baby it's necessarily expected to be used...) and by the end of last weekend it looked like Babies 'R Us threw up in our living room. Seriously, she's set - the duffel bag of the clothes my niece Lili doesn't fit in anymore combined with everything else we've been given and bought - she easily has not only more clothes than Justin and I, but nicer and she'll be trendy even *gasp*

As soon as Justin read about the nesting instinct that every pregnant woman gets, he's been asking me when mine will kick in... ten weeks later and I'm officially nesting - I think. Really, Justin has to do all the work because he's ridiculously overprotective that I don't over extend myself... I have no idea how I got so lucky to have a loving and paranoid husband! As a result, my nesting has basically consisted of deciding what I'd like to do for her nursery and then Justin making it happen. Nothing is really finished (in order to make one thing happen it seems like B, C and D need to be done first) but we're well on our way. Her changing table and crib have been put together. We picked out the dresser and pick it up Tuesday. The only furniture left that we'd like to put in her room is a rocking chair or glider. I found out Friday that my nesting is going to become even easier because after I told Justin's mom, Miriam, how we planned on painting the room, she saw through my uncertainty and is coming over on Thursday while we're at work to decorate the nursery to compliment the bedding set I chose. As long as it doesn't end up too pink... I'm stoked to have an interior designer take over the room! I trust her though and can't wait to see it finished!

36 weeks down, 4 to go (I hope!)

needles and shots and epidurals? oh my.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning and had the fine opportunity of skipping breakfast and having an orange fizzy drink instead courtesy of the lab before I had my blood drawn for a glucose test. Things went from bad to worse and having it all on a Monday morning made it that much worse...

I ought to preface everything by saying that everything is fine, Baby Girl is growing normally and other than wicked heartburn that wakes me up each and every night panicked and cranky, I'm doing fine. I ended up seeing a midwife today, which I quite prefer over our OB, and she spent a lot more time with me and never made me feel ridiculous. -and then she reminded me that when I was done in the lab getting my blood drawn I needed to come back over for some special shot since I'm one of 15% of women fortunate enough for my blood type to be negative. (the baby's blood type is very likely to be positive and it's a risk to me and a huge risk to our next pregnancy if my blood mixes with Baby Girl's blood during labor. I don't understand at all, but I generally don't.)

I got to the lab and immediately started what I can only imagine is similar to Lamaze breathing, so I can get through getting my blood drawn. I've always been afraid of needles (I still can't even get a flu shot without growing tense) but about this time last year I went through stuff and had my blood drawn so often it's quickly become one of my greatest fears. The tech asked multiple times if I was okay, explaining her reluctance to begin when my face had already lost so much of its color and she hadn't even drawn blood yet. The blood was drawn, I managed to survive, and after a refusal to lie down, went back to the OB.

The nurse comes in and she was super chill and tried to calm my fears by explaining it's just going to be a pinch, so I reluctantly followed directions, never again. I swear that woman must have finished a 100 meter sprint she jabbed that thing into my hip/stretched-mark-badonkydonk it was so hard! If you have to give it a jab to effectively give the shot, that's fine, but don't tell me it's going to be a pinch. a pinch?! I literally jumped off the table, turned and asked what the hell that was! I felt terrible... but seriously! I'm left now seriously doubting an epidural, how am I supposed to handle that? AUGH!

Chubby Bunny

As promised… the “freak out” story: at our last OB appointment I asked our doctor how big Baby Girl Bail was because the technician didn’t really give us more than “it’s a girl!” and “everything looks good”. The rest of our time was spent explaining what each organ was she kept looking at and trying to reassure me that indeed everyone has one of those (anatomy wasn’t my strongest class to say the least!). So our OB looks it up and tells us 1 lb 2 oz. alright, that means nothing to me, but I can write it in my pregnancy journal if I decide to update it ever.

The remainder of the appointment we discussed what to expect now and she kept asking if I’m doing well emotionally unstable, but fine! physically this has been easier than I expected, I’m blessed and mentally… that’s when I finally divulged my struggle with the weight gain. I’ve been much more shallow than I anticipated because I don’t like seeing the increasing number on the scale or the stretch marks I recently discovered that weren’t on my stomach AUGH! I totally know that the end result will be well worth it and the only reason I’m putting on the pounds is because I have a baby inside, I get that—I don’t get why I’m getting bigger EVERYWHERE when my belly is where she’s actually growing, but whatever. (not whatever actually, I think it’s the most irritating thing in the world that my hips, thighs and badonky donk have to grow too…) anyway, the doctor’s response was a very encouraging “you should expect to gain 1-2 lbs a week for the remainder of your pregnancy.” I’m sorry?! I still have 18 weeks left! When I asked if she thinks I’m ridiculous for being concerned about it she laughed like it was a joke but definitely didn’t say no. awesome.

Later that night I was talking to my childhood friend Melissa who’s also pregnant and due just a few days after me and she just found out they’re having a girl too (which if you knew our story it’s really only fitting, but another promised post another day). Her doctors were concerned that her baby wasn’t quite 1 lb yet and I got concerned that at 22 weeks her baby wasn’t even 1 lb, but at 19 weeks my baby was a couple ounces over a pound! So I jump online and unfortunately learned that the average fetus is 8.5 oz at 19 weeks. First reaction was to panic, but I did the math quick and since there’s 12 oz in a pound and she was a pound and two ounces she was only 14 ounces, which is bigger but I convinced myself it wasn’t terrible… then Justin politely reminded me that my math skills leave much to be desired and there’s actually 16 oz in a pound so she was 18 oz at 19 weeks. How is that “fine”?! Sounds to me like something to be at least a teeny frickin’ little bit concerned about when a baby is DOUBLE the average size!

At this point I called my mom completely panicked and freaking out because not only is there no way that can be healthy, but I was picturing giving birth to a front-cover National Enquirer size baby! J and I were both just under 9 lbs when we were born so Baby being twice that at 18 lbs they’re going to need the Jaws of Life to get her out of me! A C-Section would have to basically cut me in half so she could say hello. And then I was frustrated that she wasn’t going to be the small baby we pictured her being compared to her cousins that were both big babies that didn’t stay little long. She was going to be on pace, it was the plan. I was actually mad, how terrible! I’m already a bad mother because I’m irritated about something so superficial and the right Sunday school answer is as long as she’s healthy, right?! I was a wreck, crying on the phone to my mom who couldn’t even understand everything I was saying because it was so incoherent…

A ridiculously long story short: I talked to the nurse the next day and she told me to take deep breaths and everything indeed looks fine, at 19 weeks Baby was 10 oz. I assured her that the doctor said 1 lb 2 oz and the nurse guessed she was speculating how big Baby was at the appointment that day. That’s not what I asked! Needless to say, I’m considering looking for a new OB just because she thinks I’m shallow and stupid instead of normal with stupid questions (which is completely different) and that’s not something I want tainting this experience. That, and every time we go we have to wait, no exaggeration, at least 30 minutes for her see us. They take us into the room almost immediately, but then we have to sit there and wait for her. It’s not like it’s a nice room either, the only décor is a poster with a giant vagina diagram. awkward to say the least…

Some Motherly Advice

I had a majorly minor freakout last week after my OB appointment (I'll definitely share the story later, it'd be a waste not to let other people laugh at my expense...) and it was the first time I'd called my mom literally crying so hard I could barely talk over absolutely nothing. Justin wasn't even phased by this, the entire time I was on the phone with my mom he was walking around cleaning. I blame it on the hormones, but I've always been emotional so being pregnant may just be a ridiculously perfect excuse... anyway, the next day I had an email from my mom waiting in my inbox at work with the following picture and description:

  1. she was younger than I am now
  2. she only saw her parents one time during her pregnancy with me (we lived in Texas they were in Southern California and she happened to fly home for my uncle's wedding, I'll be going home for a quick weekend in February)
  3. like me, she was working full-time. except my dad had been away at a technical training school for over a month when the picture was taken, making the holidays especially challenging because in addition to me being only four months, my brother was barely two
  4. they couldn't afford the latest in children's toys, nursery furniture or clothes (evident by my brother's hand-me-downs I'm sportin' like a champ!)
  5. in spite of it all, both she and I look happy, healthy and content

She was pointing out that I'll be sad if I miss out on the wonderfulness of this time by letting myself get carried away with things I don't need to worry about. So, I've been instructed to relax, enjoy and be a mother who's composed and in charge. My entire life people have told me how much I am my mother's daughter--hopefully that will be the same with Baby Girl and I!

Half Way to Meeting Baby Bail

Is it a little overly dramatic that as I think about week 20 officially (hopefully!) being the halfway mark, I can’t get the Bon Jovi “Livin’ on a Prayer” song out of my head?! As I sing it silently I’m visioning the fist pump and throwing your head back to really hit the notes too… haha!

Whooah, we’re half way there
Whoooah livin on a prayer
Take my hand and well make it - I swear
Livin on a prayer

All things considered the first half of my pregnancy has been relatively easy. As I understand it from Jenn, I’m incredibly fortunate to not have had any morning sickness at all. I’m still tired, and have given up hope that I’ll get the “second wind” that women get during their second trimester, but if that’s the worst of it I really can’t complain.

I was hoping I would feel Baby Bail moving around by now, but I haven’t really… I know it’s a mover and shaker though – you should see the ultrasounds, Baby doesn’t stop squirming! It’s incredible this little life I have inside me! We were listening to the heartbeat for the first time a couple weeks ago and we’d hear this occasional thump and the OB would ask if I felt it (I didn’t) because that was a kick. I’m pretty sure I felt Baby moving once while I was in the shower (all great thinking—and apparently baby movement—happens in the shower… I should never get out!) and it was equally amazing and weird!

I do the worst job at explaining what it felt like, but the best I can do is that it feels like those cartoons look when someone swallows a bomb or dynomite and then you see it expolde because their midsections expand… except it’s not painful obviously, it’s precious! It’s just weird to feel poked from the inside out.

Baby Bail has continued to morph through fruits and objects: from a turnip to a bell pepper then a large heirloom tomato (?) and is now a banana. It only weighs probably around 10 ½ ounces now, which freaks me out because I’m pretty sure I’ve put on more than the average 10 lbs most women gain in the first 20 weeks. But that’s a self-concious story for another day… It’s crazy to see ultrasounds and how much the fetus has already developed, and it’s only half-way done! Personally, I can’t see how anyone can go through a pregnancy and not see God glorified in each small detail of the baby’s development… it’s amazing!!

we were trying to get the pregnancy picture and Rocky jumped up to check it out, I think he knows!

Fruit of the Womb

I've just entered my 17th week of pregnancy and I officially have a can't-suck-it-in-to-hide-it baby bump now! It's not so big that I have to start wearing maternity pants, but we're pretty close. I plan on writing a letter to whoever invented the belly band (this stretchy band you wear over your pants that allows you to unbutton the pants, but they stay on and you can't tell it's unbuttoned) to offer my thanks and congratulations, it will keep me in my regular pants for at least a few more weeks!

On Black Friday Justin and I hit the mall to take advantage of the sales and load up on Christmas gifts. (I've always loved day-after-Thanksgiving shopping, it can't be helped!) We were walking through the mall and we came across a Motherhood Maternity and stopped so I could look at dress pants. The jeans I can still make work, the dress pants are becomming increasingly difficult to fit in comfortably. The sales person graciously set up the dressing room and I stood outside of it just staring and didn't even realize I was wide-eyed and breathing heavily until the woman kind of nudged me and told me it was going to be okay. I tried one pair on and then left the store in a hurry with my belly band beacuse I'm just not ready for all those extra inches of awkward and ugly panel. -plus I technically don't need them yet. I want to put it off as long as possible...

Anyway, on to the development: at 17 weeks Baby Bail can move its joints, and its skeleton — until now rubbery cartilage — is starting to harden to bone. Its sense of hearing is also developing so Justin is adament I listen to more Mozart and classical music, although I think Christmas music will suffice for now because I can't get enough of it! and at 17 weeks it's approximately (on average) five and a half inches, which is the size of a turnip. I had to laugh when I read that though because they always turn my baby into a fruit or vegetable! For your reading enjoyment, here are all the foods Baby Bail has morphed through:

Week Four – Poppy Seed
Week Five – Sesame Seed
Week Six – Lentil Bean
Week Seven – Blueberry
Week Eight – Kidney Bean
Week Nine – Grape
Week Ten – Kumquat
Week Eleven – Fig
Week Twelve – Lime
Week Thirteen – Medium Shrimp
Week Fourteen – Lemon
Week Fifteen – Apple
Week Sixteen – Avacado
Week Seventeen – Turnip

...beacuse I promised Erin...
the first bump picture (me at 17 weeks) I can still see my feet though, which I consider a good thing! I'm not usually quite this big... this was after a big dinner!

my own And1

Baby Bail is on the way!!

Justin and I found out a couple months ago that we're expecting Baby Bail on May 8, 2008! We've basically been trying for almost an entire year so to say that we were ecstactic would be putting it lightly! As thrilled as we are though, the look on J's face in this picture depicts pretty well all the other feelings running through our heads, haha! Everyone keeps saying that there's this motherly instinct that just kicks in and I'll know what to do, I'm praying I get extra of that though, because I don't want to mess this up! (I've also had a brief conversation with God that I'll only get a basketball belly and big no where else, and that labor is as easy as sneezing and it will simply fall out...)

I'm at 12 weeks now and if it weren't for the four positive pregnancy tests, a few doctor's appointments, an ultra sound and actually filling out my bra now, I wouldn't know I was pregnant. As I understand I've had it pretty easy so far. I was nauseous a little in the very beginning but never threw up and haven't had any morning sickness. Now that I'm through my first trimester, as I understand, I should be in the clear. YAY! It does make me nervous though that it's so easy now that it's going to be a disaster later.

I change my mind basically every day if I want to find out the sex before the due date. Today I don't want to know, but I'm such a control freak and planner I don't see how I can not know. Justin I think wants to know the sex, but I think it would be such a cool surprise to wait. We'll see I guess, for now we're both feeling so incredibly blessed!
